In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. Through him all things came into being, and without him nothing was made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not stop it.

"And the Word became flesh", like music, poetry to tell us how God gives us the grace to take our humble human condition, to save us. God comes here to live in the womb of the Virgin Mary.
